Mike West
Mike is the founding partner of NorthShore Capital Advisors. Mike brings entrepreneurial and executive management experience to the firm with a history of managing finance, strategic planning, merger and acquisitions, business development, sales, operations, IT and human resources in a wide variety of industries.
Prior to NorthShore, he served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Homepoint. While at Homepoint he founded the company, oversaw a strategic plan and raised over $73.5 million in equity financing. In the years preceding Homepoint, Mike was Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning for ZCI. Prior to ZCI, Mike was President and CEO of the Alliance for Quality Care. At AQC Mike oversaw the development of the company, its initial capital funding and subsequent sale. From 1993 through 1994, he served as Executive Director of the University of Cardiovascular Care Consortium.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee. While at Tennessee, he was a member of the varsity football team from 1985-1987. In the past, he has served as a Director of the Jason Foundation, Advisory Board member for the President of Furman University, member of the Advisory Council to the Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Tennessee and member of the Board of Governors for the University of Tennessee Alumni Association.
